Rates and Payments
My rate for private lessons depends upon where the lessons are conducted. At your home or mine, it is $30 per half hour, but at a rented studio room [for example, at Ted Brown Music, University District, Seattle], it will be slightly more (usually about $5-10). My rate may be higher when processed through certain websites designed to help students find teachers. Lesson fees paid directly to me (instead of a website) are due at the beginning of the month and are payable in advance by cash or check. Lesson fees reserve the lesson time. Regular attendance is crucial, but I realize some scheduling conflicts are inevitable. Please notify me at the beginning of the month of any planned absences, and I will not bill you for those lessons. Missed lessons due to illness or other unplanned absences are non-refundable.

3. The 30 minute lessons ($25 each) are prepaid monthly on the first lesson of each month.
